Vehicle Service Charts and Service History

Transport officers should prepare service charts showing vehicle details, repairs undertaken at the previous service, current problems, date of next service and related information. A service-history chart from purchase to current age should also be compiled to assist the Board of Survey in determining the appropriate time to board a vehicle.
