Procurement Objectives, Principles and Scope

The Law seeks probity, accountability and transparency; fair pricing standards and benchmarks; fair, competitive and value-for-money procurement; citizen opportunities; cost- and time-efficient procedures; competitiveness, professionalism and integrity; and transparency in procurement. It applies to procurement by the State Government, Local Governments and specified public bodies/entities.
