Outside Occupation and Paid Employment
An officer paid other than hourly may not engage in another occupation for reward without prior permission from the Permanent Secretary responsible for Establishments. Permission depends on whether the occupation would interfere with official duties. An officer on leave of absence also requires prior express approval before accepting paid employment.
