General Warrant

The General Warrant authorises the Accountant-General to issue funds for personal emoluments and other services provided in the Annual Estimates and authorises officers controlling expenditure votes to incur expenditure for those purposes. The Minister of Finance may exclude items requiring special control. The original is addressed to the Accountant-General, a signed copy goes to the Auditor-General, and notification is published in the Federal Official Gazette.
