Development Fund (Special) Warrant

Financial Regulations

The Federal Executive Council may authorise a Development Fund (Special) Warrant where supplementary provision is urgently required, cannot be provided by virement, and cannot be postponed without serious injury to the public interest until National Assembly provision is made. Immediate expenditure must not exceed the remaining Development Fund balance after necessary provision. Expenditure is submitted under the appropriate Capital Expenditure Head to the National Assembly at its next meeting for approval. The original goes to the Accountant-General, a signed copy to the Auditor-General, and relevant vote controllers are notified.
